One of the most renowned actresses of the 90s who has done various big films.  Neelam Kothari is a woman The actress is also a jewelry designer.  Neelam Kothari recently grabbed the limelight when she appeared in the show. The Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives. The actress in a recent interview said that she can do cameo roles but is not ready for big roles. 

Neelam said, “My nine-year-old daughter Ahana takes up most of my time. I can’t sign a project that would require me to shoot 40-45 days and not be there for her,”  Speaking about when she was promoting her show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood wives, the actress said, “During this time, my daughter and my dad were unwell, and Sameer (Soni; actor-husband) was also busy with shooting. So none of us were available for Ahana. As a result, she’s giving me a cold shoulder (laughs). You know how children have strange ways of expressing emotions.”  The actress further said, “Work will come and go, but these precious years with family will never return.”

Neelam made her debut into the industry with the 1984 film Jawaani. She is best known for her work in films such as Khudgarz, Agneepath, Gharana, Love 86 and Sindoor among others. She will also feature in Zoya Akhtar's Made In Heaven series. The actress was last seen in in  Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives 2, a Netflix series based on the lives of four star-wives - Seema Sajdeh (previously married to Sohail Khan), Maheep Kapoor (Sanjay Kapoor's wife), Bhavana Pandey (wife of Chunky Pandey) and Neelam Kothari (married to Samir Soni). The series premiered on Netflix earlier this month and it has been produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
