According to the National Medical Commission Act 2019, now all the medical colleges in the country including AIIMS, JIPMER (AIIMS, JIPMER) will be admitted only through NEET in MBBS and BDS courses. At present, along with many other exams, the probable schedule of NEET has been released by NTA some time back. According to this, students will be given the opportunity to download the admit card for NEET UG from 27 March 2020. The exam will be held on 3 May 2020. The results of the exam will be released on June 4, 2020, about a month later. The exam will be based on the OMR sheet, ie pen-paper mode. Neat's score will be made public by changing it to a percentageile score. From the next academic session, NEET has been made mandatory for admission in MBBS and BDS courses in all other medical colleges including AIIMS and JIPMER. Earlier AIIMS and JIPMAR used to conduct separate entrance exams. Counseling in both courses will not only be conducted only simultaneously.
