Due to lockdown, quarantine or containment zone restrictions, few students were unable to attend NEET 2020 on the scheduled date September 13. The students under this condition get a chance to appear for NEET on October 14. The Supreme Court allowed the National Testing Agency to conduct the phase 2 of the examination.

The supreme court bench said on considering the circumstances which have necessitated the postponement of the exam from its original date in the past and the circumstances prevailing now, a special permission has been given to National Testing Agency to conduct Phase 2 of NEET UG for the covid affected students and for those is containment zones on October 14, 2020. The timing is between 2 to 5 PM on October 14. The admit cards can be downloaded from ntaneet.nic.in and the instruction has been given over there. The National testing Agency has informed about 88% of the registered 15.97Lakh students has taken the exam.
