NEET Issue:May 20,2016:Union Cabinet is espected to apparent an order or an executive order to put off the  execution of NEET or the “National Eligibility cum Entrance Test” - the common entrance test for medical and dental courses - for state governments and their affiliated institutions for this academic year.

Today,is the day when the decision in this, is expected to be taken, after the various meeting between Union Health Minister JP Nadda and state health ministers.Meanwhile,will be appropriate for those applying for Central government and private management institutions under the management allocation.

The state government representatives had questioned the Centre to think about the stress the students will face if doubt succeed.

First meeting which JP Nadda held is with the state health mnisters of 14 seats and the another one was held between leaders of the Congress, the INLD, Left and PDP and Union FM Arun Jaitley.

So far 6.5 lakh students have by now sat for the first stage of NEET held on May 1. The next stage of the exam is planned for July 24.

Prior,Supreme Court said that, “ students need to take only one common entrance test, the NEET, for entry to medical colleges, following a large number of complaints about corruption in a situation where all state governments and private medical colleges held their own exams.”

But later than the court's order, various states involving Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu - had said the implementation of the common entrance test should be deferred by a year.
