New Delhi: The National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test for Postgraduates (NEET) 2022 was held today in 849 centres across 267 cities, as planned. According to the Health Ministry, 2,06,301 people took the test.
The exam comes after a month of anticipation, court filings, and requests for the NEET PG 2022 exam to be postponed. The examination went off without a hitch in all of the centres.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Science (NBEMS) has appointed almost 1,700 invigilators to oversee examinations at test centres, according to the Union Health Ministry. The examination was attended by around 18,000 TCS iON invigilators. NBEMS sent central observers to the centres in real-time to monitor the examination process.
NEET PG 2022 was administered as a computer-based test (CBT) that lasted 3 hours and 30 minutes.
The Supreme Court had refused to postpone NEET PG 2022 on Friday, May 13.
