On the occasion of one of the loved actors of Bollywood Rishi Kapoor’s 70th birth anniversary, Neetu Kapoor shared a goofy photo of the two. Sharing the fun picture with her husband Neetu Kapoor captioned her post, "Happy birthday," and shared a red heart emoji. 

As soon as the post catches the eyes of people they started commenting on it. Alia Bhatt’s mother, actor Soni Razdan, stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania, and photographer Dabboo Ratnani left heart emojis. Many fans wished ‘happy birthday’ to Rishi with some calling him a ‘legend’. Her Daughter Ridhima Kapoor sharing his photo, wrote, “We miss you so much, especially today but ‘with a cheer, not a tear, in our eye’. Love you, papa.” She added a white heart emoji to her birthday note.

On Rishi Kapoor’s 69 th Birthday Neetu shared a heartfelt note and wrote, “I learnt a lot from Rishi Ji during our last few traumatic years in NYC... how we celebrated when his blood counts were high... we dined shopped laughed... in his lows we just stayed home watched tv ordered in amazing food and still had some wonderful moments in hope that the next round of chemotherapy he would be better... hope and being strong is what he taught me... value each day... we all miss him today!”

Rishi Kapoor passed away at the age of 67, on April 30, 2020. He had been battling cancer since 2018 and had undergone treatment for the same in New York. The veteran actor returned to India in 2019 and began work on ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’, which he couldn’t finish. Paresh Rawal had stepped in to complete the remaining portions of the movie.
