Patna: A case of rape of a minor has been reported in West Champaran district of Bihar and the accused has been arrested by the police on the complaint of the victim and her mother. A minor girl has accused her neighbour for raping her. The mother of the victim has lodged an FIR against the rape number 03/21 in Thakaraha police station. The police is currently investigating the incident by arresting the accused in the case.
The neighbour was reported to rape the teenager in Bhathawa village under thakaraha police station area of West Champaran district, which has been registered by the family members. The police has acted immediately on the matter and arrested the man and sent the victim to Betia for the medical test. According to the information, the mother of the victim said that her dumb girl had gone to peel sugarcane for cattle feed. The 50-year-old accused, who was already ambushed in the field, has carried out the rape incident by forcibly taking the girl inside the sugarcane field.
On the other hand, Thakaraha Thanadat Vinod Kumar informed that the accused has been arrested and sent to jail on the application of the victim's mother. The victim has been shifted to Betia Sadar Hospital for medical examination and the police is engaged in further action. The police are engaged in a number of aspects to the incident in the neighbourhood. Tension prevails in the village after the incident.
