Shivpuri: In Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh, a girl has committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance. The girl was troubled by the activities of a boy living in her neighbourhood. The criminal used to molest this girl every day. The girl had earlier also complained to her family in this regard. Due to these activities, the accused once had to vacate his rented house. Despite this, his actions did not reduce and now after this incident, a case of abetment to suicide has been registered against the culprit.
Karaira police station of Shivpuri has taken this action on the complaint of the girl's father. In the complaint given to the police, the victim's father told that he is a resident of a village in Karaira area. Here he lives in a rented house for his daughter's education and also gives tuition to the neighboring children to meet the household expenses. He told that a criminal named Saksham Lodhi also lived in the same house on rent earlier. Due to this the criminal molested his daughter several times. On receiving the news of this, he scolded the culprit and also complained to the landlord. Then the landlord made him vacate the house.
According to the victim's father, even after leaving this house, the culprit rented a house at a short distance and started harassing his daughter. Fed up with these actions of the accused, his daughter consumed some poisonous substance on the evening of 22 February. Due to this his health deteriorated. He was immediately taken to Jhansi hospital, where he died due to treatment. On receiving the news of this, Karaira police station recorded the statement of the victim's father and arrested the accused and after necessary interrogation, the police arrested the accused. Police said, in connection with this incident, a case has been registered against the accused for instigating the girl to commit suicide. The matter is being investigated by the police. The police, after conducting post-mortem, handed over the girl's body to her family for cremation.
