New Delhi: In the last few months, there have been incidents of terrorists targeting local civilians and people of other states in the Kashmir Valley. Due to this, the central agencies have become alert and concrete arrangements are being made for the Amarnath Yatra. A 5 layer security cover is being prepared for the safety of the devotees. RFID tags will be provided to the people going on Amarnath Yatra. Through this, 24x7 tracking of passengers can be done so that their safety can be ensured.

Efforts are also being made by the Central Government and the Jammu and Kashmir Administration regarding the place of stay and connectivity of the pilgrims. At the same time, preparations are being made to take care of the rescue and health concerns in the event of bad weather. Let us inform that this year Amarnath Yatra is starting from 30th June. How alert is the central government regarding this, it can be gauged from the fact that Home Minister Amit Shah himself had held an important meeting in this regard yesterday.

In this meeting, Amit Shah talked about the security arrangements and gave necessary orders. He said that it would be the priority of the government that people can easily and without any delay have the darshan of the holy cave of Amarnath. Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Security Advisor Ajit Doval and many senior security officials were also present in this meeting.
