Kathmandu: Everything is not going well these days between India and Nepal. Due to the boundary dispute between traditional friends, there has been a rift. Now in this order, Nepal's KP Sharma Oli government has decided to ban the coverage of the Indian media. In fact, after the ongoing deadlock between India and Nepal over the map dispute, the Oli government is angry with the coverage of the Indian media.
It is noteworthy that Chinese influence is being seen more in Nepal nowadays. It is also seen that on the issue of anti-India, two parties have formed within the Communist Party of the Oli government. There is also an open intervention of the Chinese ambassador to resolve it. The Nepali side is angry at this coverage of the Indian media. In this connection, Nepal government spokesman Yuvraj Khativada objected to the news reports shown about the Chinese ambassador on Indian channels in regular press talks, as well as to take legal action against Indian channels.
The broadcast of Indian private news channels in Nepal has been banned. However, along with this, it is also being said that the official channel DD News has not been banned. The broadcast of Pakistani and Chinese channels in Nepal will continue as before. Nepali cable TV operators told news agency ANI that the transmission of Indian news channels in Nepal has been banned, but no government order has come in this regard yet.
