Kathmandu: A major accident occurred in Nepal on Wednesday (October 26). A jeep carrying passengers skidded off a mountainous road and fell into a gorge in western Nepal on Wednesday. In which at least three people of the same family lost their lives and twelve others were injured. The police have given this information. 

According to media reports, the accident took place in the Rolpa district of western Nepal. In the Rolpa district, a jeep carrying 15 people fell into a gorge from Sulichaur to Gajul. The jeep fell about 100 metres down the hilly road, a senior official said. Those killed in the accident belong to the same family. He said that 12 people were also injured in the incident, who have been admitted to Kohalpur Medical College. 

The condition of seven of the injured is said to be critical. The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem. Further action is being taken.
