Kathmandu: Nepal closed one of its resorts for three months and canceled the license. The main reason behind this is the security arrangements of the resort. The accident occurred due to gas leaks from the heater at a resort in Makwanpur district. At the same time, 15 tourists from Kerala were present in the hotel, out of which 8 died. It also had four minors. This accident took place on 21 January. The tourism department on Sunday closed its Everestak Panorama resort in Daman for three months.

All the tourists were found unconscious in the room. He was immediately rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead. According to local media, the dead were identified. The names of these dead were Prabin Kumar Nair (39), Sharanya (34), Ranjit Kumar TB (39), Indu Ranjith (34), Shri Bhadra (9), Abinab Soraya (9), Abi Nair (7), and Baishnab Ranjith.
