Today is the 75th death anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, who sacrificed his life for the independence of the country. But even after 75 years of death, many questions are unanswered. Suspecting Netaji's death, the plane crash is a big question. Is the bones kept in Japan are truly Netaji's? Why hasn't he been brought to India?

The ashes of Azad Hind Fauj founder Subhash Chandra Bose are preserved in the Renkoji Temple in Tokyo. It is said that Netaji died in a plane crash in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan. His body was then cremated and his last remains taken to Tokyo, where his remains have been kept in the Renkoji Temple since September 1945.

Everyone gives different reasons on why the ashes of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose from Japan have not been brought to India till date. Some call it a lack of political will and some call it a conspiracy of Japan. BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy claimed in an interview that a strange request came to him when he became a minister in PM Chandrasekhar's cabinet. In this request, Japan had said that the bones which are kept in Rinkoji temple, should be taken to India, but the condition is that you will not get its DNA test done. Netaji's family is insisting on conducting a DNA test of the bones.
