In fact, when he was present in a closed room with BJP's Mahila Morcha district vice-president Bindu Goyal (Kanpur South), his wife suddenly came there. Seeing Mohit with another woman, the wife got severely angry. She started beating Mohit with slippers and also hurled a lot of abuses.

But Mohit's wife was so angry that she continued to beat her husband, not caring for the police. Mohit's wife and in-laws also thrashed BJP leader Bindu Goyal.

Mohit Sonkar is the regional minister of Bundelkhand. He was married to Moni Sonkar six years ago. The relationship between the two was not going well.
