Muzaffarnagar: In the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, now the battle for tickets has started. Bahujan Samaj Party leader Arshad Rana's pain broke out in the city Kotwali here after being cut from Charthawal seat of Muzaffarnagar district. Weeping bitterly before the police, he alleged that a senior party leader was given Rs 67 lakh for a ticket two years ago, but he was cut off his ticket. His money was also not returned.

The same Arshad Rana warned that if he did not get justice, he would commit suicide. Arshad Rana has filed a complaint against an office-bearer of Bahujan Samaj Party. The police is talking of action after investigation. Arshad Rana, a resident of village Dadhedu in Charthaval assembly constituency, has been active in the Bahujan Samaj Party for a long time. His wife had also contested election on the symbol of Bahujan Samaj Party for the post of Zilla Panchayat member. He himself was also preparing to contest from Charthawal seat from Bahujan Samaj Party.

A day earlier, Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati tweeted and reported that the party has fielded Salman Saeed from Charthawal assembly seat. Saddened by the announcement of Salman Saeed being given the Bahujan Samaj Party ticket from Charthawal, Arshad Rana first wrote his grief on Facebook. In this, he made serious allegations against the Bahujan Samaj Party leaders, saying that he was unhappy about not getting the ticket. While he shared his pain by rote, his video is becoming fiercely viral on social media.
