About 50 per cent new subscribers were added to the Netflix Subscription panel in this third quarter of the year. After the disappointment of subscription growth in the second quarter previously this year, this was a drastic turnaround for Netflix.

Despite the price hike in the US customers are still uplifting the Netflix shares upto 20 percent in late trade. Netflix has spent heavily to expand itself into other countries. The company observed the Hike because of the original show “Stranger Things”.

Shares rose to $119.82 in from a close trade of $99.80. Also about 3.20 million international users were added internationally which was expected to be 2.01 million.
