Paytm launches a new app on Wednesday named POS System. This app will help merchant who also accept Paytm payment, now they can also accept payment with credit and debit card without having any physical card reader. This app is more beneficial for those merchant who have a small departmental store. Small vendors don’t need to invest any money in card machine or system and don’t need to bear any cost. This card facility is extravagance for a small vendor. But definitely security is one of the issue for which payer is concern about.

Paytm also tell about the struggle, it has to do for security issues with stakeholders. Paytm management team discussed several time with stakeholder for making this app more reliable and secured for the payer. They discussed “how to make the process more secure?” in addition to features that are must for the app and certifications to improve security. According to Paytm, it will re-launch the product as soon as it has been updated, and that it is "working closely with everyone in the cards ecosystem with the commitment to expand digital payment acceptance in the country." The company added that "Nothing is more important to us than customer data and privacy. We will always put this above all without fail."

In the present implementation company already include two factors authentication and Paytm is a PCI DSS certified company. By blog Paytm also assured that this app will not store any kind of detail of your card, to the users. No storage means, it will not store neither in app nor in servers. However it did not specify what additional security features it will be implementing.
