Delhi's deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia launches a new app “Swachh Delhi” to fight against air pollution. This app will support general people of Delhi to complain about garbage, burning of dry leaves in open areas and polluting vehicle without going to any government office for the same.

You can click photos of the polluted area which increase air pollution directly or indirectly and send them to the ministry through this app. Air pollution is the biggest threat to our country’s capital. After Diwali festival, the level of the air pollution break the records of several years in the city. The reason for this hike is maybe the crackers which Delhi burn just for fun of one night.

Sisodia said, “the decision was taken by the Delhi Government following a high-level meeting with governor Najeeb Jung, the central government and other stakeholders during recent meetings to tackle air pollution in the city.”

"Now the people of Delhi can capture images of offending vehicles causing air pollution and other related activities like burning of leaves, plastic and old tyres, unattended garbage dumps and also construction waste," he said.

If we want a clean India or clean Delhi, we all need to be aware of the fact too. We should avoid doing those activities with go hand in hand to increase pollution. Ultimately, all these activities create a dangerous environment for our future generation.
