The ZS electric SUV has been launched at MG Motor UK. However, it will be available for sale from the month of September this year. Mg ZS EV is priced in the UK from 21,495 pounds to 23,495 pounds, i.e. Rs 18.36-20.07 lakh for Indian currency. This price is 3500 pounds after the government grant and the company's initial discount. It will be the brand's first electric vehicle in the UK. The new Electric offering is a five-seater SUV based on the standard ICE version and offers a full-size boot under the guise of ev that makes it a practical offering. MG eZS will also be launched in India and the company has already confirmed that it will be launched by the end of this year after Hector. EZS will take on Hyundai Kona in other countries, including India.

The UK version features MG ZS EV's single electric motor producing 141bhp and 353Nm of torque. The motor comes with a 44.5kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which takes 43 minutes to charge 80 percent if it's fast-charging 50 kW. On the other hand, charging from the domestic 7 kW wall box takes 6 hours 30 mt. MG claims that its electric SUV will run up to 262 km in single charge and has a battery warranty of up to 7 years.

The MG ZS EV features apple CarPlay and Android Auto with electrically adjustable door mirrors, rear parking sensors, fabric upholstery, air conditioning, a leather steering wheel and an 8-inch infotainment system. The electric SUV comes with a number of electronics, such as active emergency parking, lane keeping assist, traffic jam assist and intelligent speed limit assist. In addition, a blind spot detection system is also available if you take the top-end exclusive variant.

In its statement, MG Motor says its new ZS EV is for those who want to switch to electric mobility and have a space resembly like a compact SUV. Standard ZS petrol is priced at 12,495 pounds (around 10.66 lakh) in the UK, with a 7-year warranty. In India, the company will assemble the eZS electric SUV at the Halol plant in Gujarat. Its estimated price is estimated to be rs 20-23 lakh.
