CBI infighting: LIVE UPDATES: M Nageshwar Rao takes charge as interim Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) director and in his first order as interim chief; M Nageshwar Rao removed the whole team probing the bribery allegations against Rakesh Asthana, including investigation officer Ajay Bassi and deputy inspector general Manish Sinha. In overall, nine officers were transferred. On the speculation that CBI office is sealed, “No room at CBI headquarters has been sealed”, told CBI spokesperson As the leading news agency ANI reported . Here are new developments so far-

CBI's JD (P)Arun Kumar Sharma, A Sai Manohar, HoZ V Murugesan and DIG Amit Kumar have been transferred/posted. They were a part of the team probing the case against CBI's Rakesh Asthana.

CBI DIG MAnish Kumar Sinha, DIG Taurn Gauba, DIG Jasbir Singh, DIG Anish Prasad, DIG KR Chaurasia, HoB Ram Gopal and SP Satish Dagar have been transferred. They were also probing the case against CBI's Rakesh Asthana.

Dy SP CBI AK Bassi has been transferred and posted as Dy SP CBI, ACB Port Blair and Addnl SP CBI SS Gum transferred and posted as CBI, ACB Jabalpur.

SC is slated to hear on Friday CBI Director Alok Verma's plea challenging the decision of sending him on leave.

Meanwhile, Prashant Bhushan on his big charge alleged that M Nageshwar Rao appointed as interim CBI chief to save Rakesh Asthana.
