Ajay Devgn's movie 'Drishyam 2' (Drishyam 2) is seen getting caught in a legal tangle. Kumar mangat was going to make the second part of the movie in association with Panorama Studios. But Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, the producer of the first part of the movie, has expressed its objection to the production of the movie by Kumar Mangat in its official statement. Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Ishita Dutta were seen in the lead roles in the first part of the movie.

Now Viacom 18 Motion Pictures has to says that they also have the rights to it. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal will be seen in 'Drishyam 2' and media reports say that Ajay Devgn and Tabu are going to present their character to fans in a new way. The first part of the movie was released in 2015 and produced by late director Nishikant Kamat. Meanwhile, the movie was produced by Waycom18 in association with Panorama Studios and Kumar Mangat.

Sources were quoted as saying, "Viacom 18 Motion Pictures has told Mangat that they cannot be separated from the movie. He also said that he will not be able to make Drishyam 2 with himself or anyone else". Despite which Mangat started working on the project regardless. Angered by this, Viacom 18 has filed a court case against him. The first hearing in the case is due soon. Here Mangat says that the movie has now been officially announced, and he is working with Panorama Studios to make it.
