New Delhi: Fraud cases continue to come up in the capital every day. In today's news, an army soldier has become a victim of fraud. An Uber cab driver looted the luggage of an army soldier who was on leave after drinking an intoxicating substance in a cold drink. The driver escaped by throwing the soldier on the roadside in Dharuhera in an unconscious state. ASI Yogesh of DLF police station informed that an FIR has been registered.

Pramod Kumar, originally from Rajasthan Sikar, told the police that his family lives in Bhiwadi. He is a soldier and is currently at home on leave after posting in Arunachal Pradesh. On the evening of 3 January, he went to the IFFCO Metro station in Gurgaon to catch the metro from Delhi. Here he booked an Uber cab. Riding in the cab, went towards Bhiwadi.

The cab driver offered him a cold drink to drink. He became intoxicated as soon as he drank. After that, at around 5 am on January 4, he found himself lying on the roadside in Dharuhera. Two of his mobiles, purse, pocket, 5-6 thousand cash, 3 bags of luggage were missing. Apart from the documents in the bag, there were clothes, items purchased from the canteen, etc. An FIR has been lodged in the DLF police station on the complaint.
