New Delhi: Delhi Police has been consistently failing to crack down on crime and criminals.  The morale of the miscreants in the capital is so high that they are not shying away from entering the house and committing criminal acts. A case of shooting dead an elderly man after entering his house in Delhi's Rohini area in broad daylight has come to light. The miscreants escaped comfortably after committing the murder.

Police from Rohini North police station who rushed to the spot after receiving information about the murder have seized the body and rushed it for postmortem and started investigation. The case related to Rangadari is being considered as the reason behind this murder. Bishan Singh, 65, a resident of Sector 7 of Rohini North police station area, reportedly lived with other members of his family. According to family members, a man came to meet them in the afternoon and was followed by two armed men. Armed men started a scuffle with the deceased and tried to forcibly enter the house but the deceased locked the door of the house from inside

The miscreants fired at Bishan, causing them to fall there in a pool of blood. The family took Bishan to Jaipur Golden Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. Senior police officials also rushed to the spot after receiving the information. According to police sources, Bishan has also been booked under the NDPS Act. He came out of prison on parole a few days ago. Police sources have expressed apprehension of Bishan's murder in the extortion case, which is currently under investigation.
