Shimla: In the last few days, the political stir in the country has intensified. Meanwhile, in the cabinet reshuffle after two and a half years in the Himachal government, MLA and Cabinet Minister Suresh Bhardwaj from Shimla have been staged for the election in the year 2022. Taking the education department from Suresh Bhardwaj, he is given the Urban Development Department, TCP and Housing, it has been as a measure to strengthen the vote bank.
While being the state's Education Minister, Suresh Bhardwaj has done many things for the betterment of the State's education sector. Of the 26 announcements related to the Education Department in the BJP's Golden Vision paper, 20 of them have been implemented in two and a half years. Even after spending most of two and a half years in files related to transfer of teachers, Bhardwaj has made a tremendous contribution in the field of education.
Being an MLA from Shimla, the Bhardwaj supporters have been looking uncomfortable for the year 2022. His supporters have been heard demanding the Urban Development Department for the past one year. He used to constantly interfere in the functioning of Shimla Municipal Corporation. Now, after the completion of the two-and-a-half-year term, the CM has also honoured Bharadwaj by giving a department related to the urban place, keeping an eye on the upcoming assembly elections. It is to be seen now that whether or not Bhardwaj is successful in strengthening all these departments, or not.
