Dehradun: Uttarakhand has become the first state in the country to implement a new education policy. In Uttarakhand, the new education policy has been implemented from Tuesday, July 12. The new National Policy on Education-2020 (NEP) has been launched in primary education under school education for the first time in the state. The school education department had already completed its preparation.

Let us know that cm Pushkar Singh Dhami will formally launch the new education policy in the state by inaugurating the Bal Vatika in the directorate general of education. With this, Uttarakhand has become the first state in India to implement the new education policy. The Bal Vatika will be inaugurated by the regional MLAs and local people's representatives at a large scale in the co-located Anganwadi centres identified at the development block level in all the districts of the state.

What is the New Education Policy?
The Government of India has launched the new National Education Policy 2020. Under this, the government has made a lot of changes in the education policy. The new National Education Policy aims to make India a global knowledge superpower. Now the Ministry of Human Resource Management is known as the Ministry of Education. Under the National Education Policy, education from pre-school to secondary school will be universalised with 100% GER in school education by 2030. Let us know that earlier the pattern of 10 plus 2 was followed. But now under the new education policy, the pattern of 5 plus 3 plus 3 plus 4 will be followed.
