On Thursday, Ford Motor Co introduced the Next Generation F-150 pickup truck online. From the looks, this pickup truck looks like before, but it has been given new technology. The new F-150 and the soon-to-be-launched Mach-E electric SUV will be Ford's first vehicles to be equipped with electronic systems and will support over-the-air software upgrades. Its rival Tesla Inc is using smartphone style updates in its vehicles that will help the vehicle to generate revenue after the improvement and sale.

The F-150 is one of the best-selling vehicles in the US, with annual sales comparable to Tesla volumes. Ford will introduce a hybrid version of the F-150 in the market. It is expected that this electric model can be launched in the next two years. The design of the new F-150 is not as spectacular as the Tesla Cybertruck.

Apart from this, it is difficult to differentiate from the model present in the exterior. When it is launched, it can be liked by traditional US buyers. However, the customers who will be ready to pay for this will be able to download the software for hands free driving on the highway which will be available from next year. Commercial customers will be offered software that will help track vehicles in the fleet.
