Indore: The country has undergone a lot of changes due to corona for some time now. No Zoo in the state has an African zebra pair so far. The couple from Indore Zoo Zebra is coming from Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Ju in Mumbai as part of the Animal Exchange event. The special thing is that these zebras will come to Mumbai Zoo before Israel, after which they will be brought to Indore Zoo.

Due to the same corona, the entire process may take two to three months. Indore Zoo in charge Doctor Uttam Yadav said that though all activities are still closed due to corona, preparations are on to bring zebra to Indore Zoo. Work is also underway to build an enclosure for the pair of Zebras. However, it will be with the approval of the Central Zoo Authority to bring them here.

After the Zoo authority meets, the work may be expedited. It may take two to three months to get zebras here. Three pairs of zebras from foreign soil will reach Mumbai Zoo. We will get a couple from here. Dr. Yadav said that at present there are more than 600 different animals in Zoo. There are 11 lion essays along with elephant pearls. Coming to the species, there are more than 60 species. He said that the average age of these Zebras is about 19-20 years. These herding creatures have black and white stripes on their bodies.
