The new e-Hybrid models follow in the footsteps of the preceding plug-in hybrid 4xe line. For the record, the same accounts for more than a third of the brand's overall European sales.

"Today's announcement builds on the success of our current 4xe plug-in hybrid portfolio, and is another step toward electrifying our whole model range in Europe," says the company "Antonella Bruno, Head of Jeep Brand Europe, expressed her thoughts.

"The Jeep Compass and Renegade e-Hybrid provide a new entry point into our electrified lineup, allowing us to increase our sales momentum by providing more hybrid alternatives to more European customers." The introduction of the 4xe version of the all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee in the summer of this year will continue this product growth." He went on to say.
