NEW DELHI : Global smartphone brand Motorola on January 9 launched its new smartphone which has a 6.55-inch display and is available in the Pantone colour of 2023, Viva Magenta.

As per statement by the company, the Motorola edge 30 fusion will be offered for a limited time for a price of Rs 39,999 and go on sale starting on Thursday on Flipkart, Motorola.in, and major retail outlets.

It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ 5G mobile platform and has a curved 6.55-inch pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.

The new smartphone has a 7.45 mm thickness and weighs 175 grammes.

"We've seen how technology and colour can intertwine to create a vessel of expression, inspire creativity, and unlock immersive experiences along the road," Motorola said of its internationally exclusive relationship with Pantone in the smartphone sector.

The edge 30 also has a 32 MP front camera and a 50 MP back camera.

It  also features a 4400mAh battery and enables 68W charging.

As the only smartphone manufacturer to introduce a product in the Pantone Color of the Year 2023, Motorola noted that its exclusive, global cooperation with Pantone in the smartphone category "allows people to explore, create, and break boundaries through technology."
