New orders issued for schools in Delhi and UP amid threat of Omicron

New Delhi: The cases of the new variant Omicron of Kovid-19 are now increasing rapidly across the country. Amidst the threat of Omicron, many state governments have imposed many restrictions in their state. In the middle of 24 hours, 27 thousand 553 new cases of corona have been heard in the country. At the same time, 284 people have lost their lives. So far, 1525 cases of Omicron variants of Kovid have been seen in the country. In the midst of increasing cases and threats from Omicron, it has been decided to close all schools in Delhi, UP and Haryana for winter vacation. However, keeping in mind the education of the children, it has been decided to run online classes.

Schools closed in UP too: Keeping in view the threat of omicrons in Uttar Pradesh, the government has decided to close all schools in Noida, Ghaziabad, Hapur and Greater Noida. The state government has declared cold leave in schools from class 1 to class 8. The state government's order is scheduled to remain in force till January 14. However, no guidelines for private schools have been issued by the state government yet.

Schools closed in Delhi: In view of the increasing cases and threat of omicrons, the government has issued a yellow alert in the country's capital, Delhi. On the other hand, with omicron cases increasing from 2-3 per cent to 25-30 per cent in the capital in the last 2 weeks, DDMA has issued new guidelines for all schools. According to this guideline, all schools and colleges have decided to close till the incoming order. The state government has decided to give cold leave in schools from classes 1 to 5.
