Yes, now it will soon become mandatory to put the fitness certificate and registration mark on the front glass of the vehicles. Let us tell you that the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways issued a draft notification on 28 February 2022, in which information has been given about the new rules. In the new notification issued, it has been said that the validity of the fitness certificate and the registration mark of the motor vehicle on the vehicles will have to be displayed in the manner prescribed in the rules.
What are these new rules - Yes, in the new notification issued, it has been said that in case of heavy goods / passenger vehicle / medium goods and light motor vehicles, it will be displayed on the upper edge of the left side of the wind screen. Simultaneously, in the case of auto-rickshaw, e-rickshaw, e-cart and quadricycle, it will be mounted on the upper edge of the left-hand side of the wind screen, if found there.
The two wheeler will have to be mounted like this- Let us tell you that according to this new rule, in the case of a motor cycle, it will be mounted on the specified part of the vehicle. Yes, it will be displayed in 'Type Arial Bold Font' in yellow on a blue background.
