It was reported, US President Donald Trump's company has been grant permission by Scottish authorities to build a second golf course in northeast Scotland in spite of local objections. However, plans for a new 18-hole golf course have been approved by Aberdeenshire council. The course is given name MacLeod after Trump's mother, Mary Anne MacLeod, and will be built next to the current course on his Menie Estate

Many locals raised objections to the application, pointing out loss of public space and the impact it would have on water supply, private roads and surrounding estates. The Scottish Environment Protective Agency (SEPA) also raised objections, indicating the water management plan was insufficient and the environmental management plan was not adequate. America president additionally owns Turnberry golfing route, in southwest Scotland.

US President has said he might leave the United State if he loses the White House to Joe Biden next month. If so, he has just been handed the perfect place to make a little go a long way his final days, by playing golf on a new course in Aberdeenshire, his second in the area. If Trump does pick such an option, he can expect a hearty welcome from conservationists, however. They say last week’s decision by Aberdeenshire council planners to approve the course could have a shattering impact on the area’s delicate environment
