Actress Pallavi Mukherjee is going to start her TV career with the upcoming TV show 'Barrister Babu' challenging the discrimination faced by women in the society. Apart from this, the show will air on TV from February 11, and will replace the soon-to-be-closed show 'Ram Siya Ke Love Kush'. Talking about her first show, Pallavi says that the show is set in the 1920s on the backdrop of Bengal. Apart from this, she says, 'The show specifically depicts the situation when women were not equipped and comfortable living with a male touch, moreover, they did not resist any of the men by putting their eyes in them. It was considered a great thing to cross the shadow of a man.

Highlighting the special feature of the show, Pallavi says, "The one thing that is most important about this show is to go back to that era, and then to depict the portrayal of two women lively, and to state that How marriage completely changes things for them and their lives. ' Apart from this, Pallavi said that her character's name is Sampoorna, who lives in a village with her parents. She goes on to say, 'As the show is set in 1920, and the entire setting and story is of old times.

My character will be shown that she is very excited about her marriage, and she dreams of the same. My character is very obedient, straightforward and simple, and he has been used to the ideals of those times. Apart from this, she loves her sister Bondita (Aura) very much, and she is everything to her. So even after my marriage, I keep thinking about my sister all the time. ' Talking about the challenges with the character, she says, 'It was very difficult for me to play this role, because it is completely different from my real life. It would be a big deal for me to get married in the opening scene of the show itself.
