Five policemen, including the SHO, have been line attached in connection with the suicide of a youth by hanging themselves in Kamla Nagar police station of capital Bhopal. Police are also initiating action in the case.

Kamla Nagar police had detained 25-year-old Golu alias Chhotu Sarathi, a resident of Sabri Nagar, on Friday evening. On him, his sister-in-law had also complained of molestation. Golu has committed suicide by tearing the blanket in Hawalat and making a noose of hanging. A magisterial inquiry has also been ordered in the case. The police have already lined up the policemen for not keeping an eye on the detainees in jail. In the CCTV of the police station, Golu is seen moving around before hanging. He also looks upset. After which he was hanged in custody.  

Released from jail two months ago: Criminal Golu's brother died eight months ago. He was living with his sister-in-law. He also has two cases of assault and molestation registered against him. He came home two months ago after being released from prison.
