Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi Redmi announced their latest affordable smartphones in the Indian market - the Redmi Y3 and the Redmi 7. Now, Xiaomi India's MD announces a new powerful smartphone is in the works and will be coming to the market soon enough.

Ram Pothineni's encouraging words for Inter students

Manu Kumar Jain, Xiaomi Managing Director of India, took to Twitter to share a photo which showed two Qualcomm India executives. The tweet mentioned the partnership between two companies and also teased the arrival of a new Xiaomi Redmi smartphone. The only information which was revealed in the tweet about the smartphone is that it will come powered with the latest "Snapdragon 7_ _ (announced just 2 weeks ago)". The Snapdragon 730 and Snapdragon 730G are the two Snapdragon 700 chipsets which Qualcomm launched this month. Which means it could be one of the two but we assume that it is the Snapdragon 730.

The specifications of Redmi phone were leaked a few weeks back. The leak had revealed that the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 730 processor, features a 4000mAh battery, and has a triple camera setup (48MP + 8MP + 13MP). This could be the same device which is heading to India but it may launch in China first. As of now, there is not much information about the smartphone, but various online reports have claimed that the upcoming smartphone could be the Mi 3.
