Patna: Now only few hours are left for the arrival of New Year. Tonight will be the beginning of the 12 remaining New Years. The police will monitor the celebrations and parties to be held in all the districts of the state including the capital Patna on the New Year. For this every police station has been put on alert mode. The focus of the police is on crime control as well as on liquor parties.

Let us tell you that a special drive is being run to check every hotel and lodge in Patna. Patna SSP Upendra Kumar Sharma has given special instructions to all SDPOs and Thanedars to run special drives in their areas. To see that there is no riot in the welcome of the new year, the police will also be strictly guarded.

According to the information given by the same SSP, the special drive will run for 5 consecutive days. Which has started from the night of 28 December. This will continue till the night of January 1. Rooms from small to big hotels and lodges will be screened. The New Year's party and celebrations to be held there will be closely monitored by the police. If anyone is found having a liquor party, then strict legal action will be taken against him. If you are caught spilling the jam while celebrating the New Year, then you will have to celebrate Happy New Year in jail. Significantly, in view of the increasing cases of corona epidemic, the Bihar government has issued an order to keep all parks and gardens closed from December 31 to January 2. Guidelines have been issued to all the districts in this regard.
