New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern's Labour Party after a landmark victory in country's general election could form the first single-party government in the decades. The major failure in her first term delivering on the progressive transformation she promised will be fulfilled as the power is completely occupied by her labour party.  Labour had 49.0% of the votes, far ahead of National at 27%, the Electoral Commission said, with 77% of ballots counted in an election which is marked as Ardern's aggressive handling of COVID-19.
