News anchor Rohit Sardana passed away due to corona infection

New Delhi: News anchor Rohit Sardana has died of corona infection. Rohit Sardana, who was an anchor in Zee News for a long time, was working as an anchor in the news channel till date. On his demise, Sudhir Chaudhary tweeted, "A little earlier than now, Jitendra Sharma got a call. My hands trembled at what he said. There were reports of the death of our friend and colleague Rohit Sardana. I didn't imagine that this virus would take anyone away from us so close to us. I was not ready for it. This is god's injustice... Om Shanti".

Rohit Sardana, who has been working in tv media for a long time, used to anchor the news channel 'Dangal' which is aired these days. It was in 2018 that Rohit Sardana was awarded the Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Award. Senior journalist Rajdeep Sardesai has also informed about the passing away of Rohit Sardana.

He paid tribute and tweeted, "Friends, very sad news. Noted TV news anchor Rohit Sardana has passed away. He suffered a heart attack this morning. Deepest condolences to his family".
