Different Newspapers pay tribute to the southern tiger: Karunanidhi's demise

Since the death of the most loved and sought after politician of Tamil Nadu, M Karunanidhi, the internet, and all forms of media are flooded with news of his demise, funeral and various updates regarding the same.

Various newspapers across the country and also the world have expressed their grief regarding the demise of the epitome of Dravidian ideology.

‘Hindustan Times’, a very famous newspaper called it the setting of the Dravidian Sun, while another popular newspaper, ‘The Hindu’, called it the passing of a patriarch, at 94.

‘The Indian Express’ referred to it as the departure of a Titan. Other newspapers like the ‘Deccan Herald’ announced that DMK chief Karunanidhi no more.

The New Indian Express called it the end of an era, while the headline of another popular Newspaper, ‘The Times of India’, read, “Sun sets on Dravidian Land”.

CNN informed, M. Karunanidhi, Indian political icon, dies at 94.

An internationally famous newspaper, the ‘New York Times’ wrote, “Veteran South Indian Politician Muthuvel Karunanidhi dies”.

Various politicians and celebrities also tweeted, expressing their grief on the same.

President of India, Ram Nath Kovind tweeted that ‘India has become poorer now’.
