Tata Motors has introduced a full line-up of all its vehicles in Auto Expo 2018. The company has showcase the subcompact SUV Tata Nexon’s, launched in 2017, with automatic transmission in this auto expo. Significantly, Tata is currently selling this SUV with only the manual gearbox in the country. The company will provide both car engines with 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol and 1.5-liter natural gas aspirated diesel engines. Versatile version of Tata Nexon's automatic transmission can be launched at the end of 2018.

Apart from this, Tata has showcased the Nexon AMT brand new Aetna Orange, which can be made available to the company with the manual version of this car. The car which Tata Motors has displayed in Auto Expo 2018 is Nexon's Top Model XZ, it is believed that the company will only provide automatic gearboxes with this model. Tata Nexon AMT has a 6-speed transmission with Creep mode, which makes it easy to drive the car in traffic.

The company has also given Hill Assist system to give better control during the driving of the mountains in the Tata Nexon AMT. If the driver wants more gear control on the new Tata Nexon, then the car has also been asked to switch from auto mode to manual. The price of Nexon AMT is estimated to increase by Rs 35,000-40,000 from Manual Version of Nexon and it will be available only in the top model of the car.
