Chandigarh: The Central Investigation Agency NIA has announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh on Kashmir Singh Galvaddi alias Balbir Singh. Kashmir Singh is accused of Nabha jail break in Punjab. Kashmir Singh is a Khalistani supporter, whose investigation agency was searching for a long time.

NIA has declared this reward on Kashmir Singh in the FIR registered regarding Terror-Gangster Network. Cases have been registered against Kashmir Singh under sections 120-B, 121, 121-A of IPC and sections 17, 18, 18-B and 38 of Unlawful Activities Prevention. Seven years ago i.e. in 2016, many miscreants including Palwinder Pinda attacked the Nabha High Security Jail and freed four criminals from jail.

These included Harminder Singh Mintoo and Kashmir Singh Galvatti, members of the Khalistan Commando Force (KCF). Along with this, gangsters Vicky Gounder and Gurpreet Sekhon and their accomplice were also released from jail. After escaping from jail, Vicky and Prema Lahoria were hiding in Sriganganagar, Rajasthan. After getting information about their whereabouts, the Punjab Police had conducted an encounter of both these criminals in 2018, while in the same year Harminder Singh Mintoo, a supporter of Khalistan, died of a heart attack in jail. But, Kashmir Singh is still far from the reach of the police. At the same time, now the NIA has announced a reward of 10 lakhs on him.
