New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has apprehended Vikramjeet Singh, a close associate of incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, following his deportation from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). A special team from the central probe agency had traveled to the UAE to facilitate Singh's deportation. He is one of the suspects implicated in the murder of renowned Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.
Vikramjeet Singh is believed to be involved in arms smuggling and extortion activities in India, collaborating with notorious gangsters such as Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar.
