New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday filed a charge sheet against 2 suspects involved in the activities of terrorist organization ISIS in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. A charge sheet has been filed against 2 arrested accused Mohammad Azaruddin and Sheikh Hidayatullah Y in Ernakulam, Kerala in the NIA Special Court.

It is noteworthy that this year NIA had registered a case against 6 accused from Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu based on reliable information. The NIA was informed that the accused person and his associates are promoting the ideology of the terrorist organization ISIS on social media and their motive is to recruit vulnerable youth in terrorist organizations (ISIS / Daish) to carry out terrorist attacks in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Are.

After the case was registered, on June 12, 2019, the residences of 6 accused in Coimbatore were searched and based on the facts revealed, Mohammed Azaruddin and Sheik Hidayatullah were detained. During the investigation, it has been found that Mohammed Azaruddin and Sheikh Hidayatullah have propagated the violent extremist ideology of ISIS since 2017 with the aim of recruiting their partners in Kerala and Tamil Nadu to further their activities in India.
