Sri Lanka's chances of reaching the final of the 2018 Nidahas Trophy have taken a hit following a surprise loss to Bangladesh over the weekend, followed by a two-game suspension for skipper Dinesh Chandimal on account of a poor over-rate. This means that all three teams are level on two points, but it will be India on the top of the table and confidence after hammering Bangladesh that will have a spring in their step when they meet the deflated home team in Colombo on Monday for game four of the tournament.

The two concerns for India would be the form of stand-in captain Rohit Sharma, whose last five scores in T20Is are 17, 0, 11, 0 and 21 i.e. aggregate of 49 runs with an average of 9.8. Indian speedster Jaydev Unadkat who has conceded runs in Sri Lanka. Rohit has a good record against Sri Lanka in limited overs format.
