New Delhi: Coronavirus infection is not going to stop. Meanwhile, the Telangana government has announced the imposition of a night curfew on Tuesday. The curfew will continue from 9 pm to 5 am. The order has been issued by state government chief secretary Somesh Kumar. He has said the night curfew will come into effect from the night of April 20 and will continue till April 30.

Earlier, the High Court had given a two-day ultimatum to the Telangana government to decide whether to impose lockdown in the state. The high court had said, "within 48 hours, the government will have to decide on lockdown or curfew, issue court orders to others". The court issued several more directions and sought a full report from the Telangana government on the situation in the state.

At the same time, the court sought 'ward-wise data' from the state government about the infected cases of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. At the same time, the High Court had said that it is very disappointing that the government should take a tough decision on marriage, ceremonies, and large gatherings in public places. The court had asked the central government to respond at the next hearing.
