Faridabad: The anger of the people about the Nikita Tomar massacre in Ballabhgarh, Faridabad is increasing. Yoga guru Ramdev has demanded public hanging of the accused of a 21-year-old woman outside her college in Ballabgarh, calling the murder as a case of "love jihad".

In this regard, Swami Ramdev said that "The killings in the name of "love jihad" in different parts of the country are shameful and a blot on the name of India" He added, "Public hanging of the accused alone can prevent reiteration of such crimes". Talking to reporters after a religious event in Patanjali Yogpeeth, he said that he also demanded the central government and state governments to enact stringent laws regarding love jihad and deal with criminals strictly.

He also asked Islamic gurus and clerics in this regard to oppose the love jihad to prevent heinous crimes happening in society. In this case, the police has detained three people, including the main culprit. Although only two accused were present at the time of the incident, the third accused, Azruddin, had provided weapons to the main accused Tausif to carry out the incident, which led to his detention from Noonh. At present, the main accused has been sent to jail for 14 days of judicial custody.
