Codename Marico is a variation of the Tegra X1 chipset used in the original switch (Koden Logan), and it is believed to be a 16-Nm update compared to the original 20-Nm. Also, the new model has a bright red packaging. The Nintendo product description on the website mentions battery life, so this could be another way to isodate the new model. According to the site, the new models will be available in mid-August. The prices are similar to the outgoing model of $299.99.
