GWALIOR: Recalling the horrendous Nirbhaya incident that shook whole country, a man and his sister kidnapped a woman, 30, and raped her in a common toilet in Gwalior. If this is not enough, accused duo damaged her private parts and even inserted a stone in the victim's genital tract.
The incident took place in Awadpura locality, under Kampoo police jurisdiction on Tuesday night and it came to light on Wednesday morning when victim’s husband found her lying unconscious. She was taken to the private hospital, where her condition said to be critical.
The accused was identified as one Shahid and his sister Pakeeza alias Shabnam.
According to police sources, the victim had an earlier dispute with the accused over use of common toilet.
The woman lives in a rented room in a building with her husband and children. There are 8 rooms and a common toilet in the tenement, where 8 families live.
Victim in her statement to police informed that Shahid overpowered her and drag her to a desolate place and rape her. Later, Shahid's sister, reached the spot and the duo gagged the woman and tied her hands and legs. They stripped the woman and battered her private parts with stones. They even inserted one in her private parts before running away. Police believe that past enmity between the two neighbours had led to the crime
