Japanese automaker Nissan has started working on its new SUV car for the Indian market. The media reports that the company will launch its 'Kicks' Compact SUV in India.

In 2016, Nissan unveiled the 'Kicks' SUV in the global market. In India, this car will be landed on the same platform, on which duster and Terrano have been made.

The Kicks SUV will be placed ahead of Terrano. It will compete with the upcoming car Reno Captor, which itself is built on this platform. 

Nissan has not kept technical details related to this new compact SUV right now. It is expected that the Nissan kicks can be lowered to 1.5-liter diesel engine or 1.6 liters. Nissan can also give CVT gearbox in it.

The design of Nissan Kicks in the exterior is funky. This compact SUV coming in Floating Roof Design and Dual Tone Colors looks good. Its interior will be prepared on the dual-tone theme. It will include dashboard, touchscreen technology system and flat bottom steering wheel.

Nissan was expected to launch the kicks at the 2018 Auto Expo. But the company is not taking part in this. It is expected that this compact SUV can launch in the Indian market in 2018.
