The Union Minister said that there will be no toll tax on National Highways (NHS) before 60 km. Replying to a discussion in the Lok Sabha on the budgetary allocation for the Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways, Minister Nitin Gadkari assured that all toll Ponit below 60 km distance will be abolished.

Toll tax or toll only is the fee that motorists have to pay when they pass through fixed roads, bridges, tunnels. Such roads are called toll roads. This is an indirect tax.
